I built FaloClaro for myself.
After two years of living in Portugal, we realized we wanted to stay, which meant we finally had to learn the language. As always, time was limited because of work, so we needed an online format. But not a "school". We wanted practice, something that helps you speak and actually feel the language.
I'm an entrepreneur, and one of my main projects in the past was a large educational platform. When I couldn't find a language-learning format that really worked for me, I did what I know best in EdTech, I built it myself, together with strong linguists and Portuguese teachers. We designed FaloClaro to be simple, calm, and based on repetition and practice. Not like a grammar textbook, but as a way for the language to slowly start living in your head.
